Sea Otter Specifications

Sea Otter was commissioned in 2000 by the owner of North Star International Inc. to showcase the very best of Dutch yacht design and construction. Sea Otter was built in aluminum by the Mekon Shipyard in Lemmer, Netherlands to Dick Koopmans design No. 286. The interior teak joinery was crafted by Rob Fritz Interior & Yacht Carpentry (www.robfritz.nl). Typical of the Koopmans designs, SEA OTTER has a centerboard to access shoal draft areas while retaining good windward performance.
